Greetings Dear Reader

Who am I? Why am I doing this?

I’m a high school student in Delhi. Growing up, I don’t think I've ever actually been  okay with who I am and what I feel. I still struggle with accepting myself and my feelings. I’ve also been surrounded by friends, family, neighbors who’ve been struggling with the same thing.

We live in a society where there is a certain way a person is supposed to be. More often than not, that certain way is the only way a person is allowed to be. Anyone who is even slightly different is made to feel inferior. It is ironic because in a way, we are all different. No one person is like the other. Diversity is something that is inevitable. It is also something that should be fostered and promoted.

Words are a powerful weapon. We all know that. We’ve all been victims for words as well. However, I’ve found that words may be the most powerful healer as well. So through this website, especially “Letters To You”, I want to use words as a tool to help people accept themselves and their insecurities. I want to help them accept their feelings, whether it’s anxiety, doubt, fear, or love. I believe that accepting something is the first step for anything. From happiness to change, everything starts with acceptance.

Hopefully, this website has helped you in some way. If you’d like to receive a personalized letter for yourself or for someone else, you can go to my “Letters To You” page here. All you have to do is fill out a form. If you’re not into the letters yet, then you can go to my “Written Words” page here. It has a collection of stories, poems and articles which may interest you. Hope you enjoy your time here!
